Chapter Educators
When we returned from Des Moines, Janice and I reflected on the many good friendships that we have made through Chapter Y, TN District, Region N, and the Gold Wing Riders’ Association.
We want to express THANKS to all Chapter Y, Region N, and GWRRA participants who were able to follow us to Wing Ding and offer us support during the 2009-2010 International Couple of the Year Selection Process.
Although we were not selected, we feel we won in a different way because we made a lot of new friends; so to our old friends and our new friends where ever you are, Janice and I THANK YOU for giving us the opportunity to represent you.
On a different note I did win FIRST PLACE in the 1500 TRIKE SHOW CLASS. WOO HOO!!! (It did take four Wing Ding tries to pull off this feat. You know what Ben Franklin wrote: Energy and persistence conquer all things.)

Region N asks that you please note: The
Region N 2010 - 2011 Couple of the Year
Selection Process will be conducted at the Rally in the Valley, Virginia District Rally, on Saturday, October 9. Plan now to attend this event and support your District’s 2009 -2010 Couple of the Year, as they participate in the Region Selection Process. We’ve met a number of the District couples, all extremely
active and great candidates. Each of these couples are worthy of selection and would represent Region N in an outstanding manner as our honored
ambassadors. The District MEC should begin planning to insure that their
candidate’s final selection packets (original copies) are mailed to Ed and Mary Ann Grazier not later than August 15, 2010. Our mailing address is located on Region N website.
Attention All Participants
We have a new
National Data Base for the Rider’s Education Program, which has been long in
the making. Each Educator is required to provide information on participants from
their Chapter, who are participating in the Levels Program, in reference to
Rider Education Courses completed, and whether or not they are current in
the level which they may have been awarded. I have been contacting
participants
within the Chapter to update our Chapter information. We may also ask for a
copy of a training card which was issued to you upon completion of a course,
or borrow your card in order to make a copy of it. This is only to verify
the information that we are reporting to National, through the District
Educator. Thanks for your cooperation, so we can update Chapter "Y"
participant
records in a timely and accurate manner.
