Hi there! My name is M. I am writing the MEC
article this month because Jeff is tired from riding with Teresa and me
today. We just got back from the Retreads. I will have to say I was worried
when I first heard about the Retread Ride. I had looked retread up in the
dictionary. It said a retread was to be heated up and new rubber is put on
you. That did not sound like fun at all; but then I found out in Chapter Y
that it means you get to go on rides and go to lots of fun places. Today we
went on a ride to a real neat art place, and then we ate at the Rose Garden
Cafe. Some of the other fun stuff the Retreads and I have enjoyed this month
is to eat, rode to and toured a railroad museum, eat, and then went to a
parade. Did I mention that we went to eat? Well, you get the jest of Y‟s
Retreads-we like to ride and eat a lot. I don‟t eat when we go out because
they say I am really stuffed. (I am going to have to look that up and see
what that means.) They leave me outside to guard the bikes and stuff when we
go anywhere. Let me tell you that if you want to have a lot of FUN and go to
a lot of places, just come on along and join the FUN that we have riding and
eating. Jeff will be back next month. If you have questions about G.W.R.R.A,
pull Jeff or Teresa aside, and feel free to talk to them. They will help you
anyway they can.
